do not waist your time, use bollinger bands combined whit moving averages and the top "candlesticks paterns" and confirm with technical indicators.

I think Alligator will be help full for trading

After looking at live charts with the Aligator I have found that the std settings is to slow and late.Instead of smooth MA's, median price hl/2.I prefer EMA on the close,they work much better.You can also use a longer MA,say 50,89,100 MA or any other to filter out false trades and to trade with a real trend.When both aligator and a longer MA lined up you will have super trades.

hi, alligator is such a perfect indicator to discover a trend market meanwhile if you are not a discipline trader you should never go near alligator because is meant for traders who trades on higher time frame not for 15 or 5 minute chart trader, if you want to experience the beauty of alligator use it on 1-4hour time frame. I agree. Alligator indicator is more sophisticated than you think. Please read the three books of B.Williams, and try to understand the chaos theory before to boost one single buck in the market.

One can't depend on just alligator and succed. You will have to combine it with fractals, with that you can be sure of the actual trends. But I think fractals combined with stochastic oscillator are better match nd predicts more accurately than alligator.
